September is showing us mid-month changes. The Alder bushes are now in full color about the property. Still, not much change to the cottonwoods and aspens, though I am expecting this anytime. The deer are out in full-force.. they know the light is changing and cooler nights mean time to browse in earnest! Although the daytime temps have stayed quite warm.. Reaching 80+ degrees still! Nightime ranges in the low to mid 40's. We did have 2 nights of frost, 10 days ago, but not since! School is back in session and most visitors have come to FISH.. yes, Fall is the time to fish the Bitterroot River.. Predominantly brown trout and they spawn in fall! So, come see us and enjoy the lovely yellows, oranges, and rusts of the Fall Colors! Time for pumpkin muffins!
