June in the Bitterroot. Always a mixed bag of weather and events. It has been rainy and cool. This is good, because it means the snow pack will last longer, the melt will be slower. Last year at this time many of the fishing hopefulls were stymied by very high water. It looks to be a great start to fishing season this year. The local Hamilton Players are beginning the summer with a production of Sound of Music. Their My Fair Lady and Thoroughly Modern Millie shows last year were favorites of mine. Looking forward to this newest show. Well, time to get some flowers in the ground. I think we have finally escaped the freezing temps at night. Hoping for our typical 40's-50's at night, so the flower beds will prosper! AND, perfect nightime temps to sleep like a baby!
