The Bitterroot in July! It's been wonderful weather, though warmer than I personally like it to be.. mid 90's! Keep me at about 85 degrees and I am a happy camper.. :) The flowers are blooming well, and I am able to keep the grounds green. The Does showed their Fawns about 2 weeks ago, the Quail have a gazillion babies, and the Turkeys have shown me 5 new ones! The Pileated Woodpeckers have been VERY active since June this year, a juvenile shows up with them! Robins have nested twice. For some reason they are preferring the area by the Pond more this year than in the past? The new berm plantings to camoflage the burn pile is filling in nicely. Live in the woods? Gotta have a burn pile! Several weddings at the Teller Wildlife Refuge have brought in customers to attend them. The Bull-a-Rama, Logger Days, Daly Days, the Fair, the Quilt Shows, the Creamery Picnic, Bluegrass Festival and the Irish/Scottish Festival are sure to attract many more. Come and See what we have to offer for a lovely stay in one of the most beautiful areas of Montana!
