Montana summer skies
August 2nd, 2011 by trishhatfield
The days are flying by, here in my little piece of heaven, known as the Bitterroot Valley. I’ve had quite a few Fisherpersons this summer. We’ve had a late start to Fishing due to the tremendous snow-pack of this past winter. Add late Spring rains and it seemed as if we skipped Spring all together! Many of the State’s Rivers had such high flows that the Bitterroot Valley attracted those who normally fished the Eastern rivers, and their Guides to our Creeks, Streams and Rivers, here in the Western edge of the State. Luckily all flows are diminishing and the Fishing is improving daily! Or so say those who’ve stayed with me. I predict the August Fishing is going to be stellar!
So, if you are looking for GREAT fishing this Aug./Sept. the Bitterroot Valley is your place. Come enjoy the new little Cabin, or any of the Rooms in the main house. A full breakfast is always served. The property is a peaceful oasis in the woods, and a GREAT basecamp. I’ve long thought the Bitterroot has the most exceptional access to the High Country and the River of any Valley in Montana. Not to worry, there are plenty of other things to occupy your time, or your non-fishing traveling partner. Call for details, specials and ideas!
